What’s The Cost

Our average trip price works out to $2,100 per person. This assumes a trip-length of four days, with single-occupancy rooms (in 3-4 star hotels), a $60 per diem for meals, and one main challenge each day. If you prefer double occupancy, a lower per diem, and want to have only one challenge per day, of course the cost can go down. Conversely, if you prefer 4-5 star hotels, and you’d like multiple challenges each day, and you’d want to significantly increase the per diems (or have group meals each night), the cost can certainly go up. This price isn’t set in stone, rather it’s here to give you a sense of whether or not Etgar is right for your budget.

 

What’s Included?

Transportation

From the moment you arrive at the group hotel on day one, until the end of our final challenge at the end of the trip, all transportation to/from/between all challenges and hotels will be covered. We can’t say whether it’ll be a bus, a plane, a train, a boat or something completely different, but whatever it is that gets our group from point A to point B, will be covered.

Accommodations

Of course all hotels are included, but the type of hotel is completely up to you. Generally speaking, because we only sleep, shower and eat (a quick) breakfast there each day, we try to be tad frugal when it comes to accommodation. That said, if your group prefer something with a bit more space and luxury, we are happy to accommodate those requests.

Trip-Leader / Evil-Genius

No Etgar trip is complete without their “Evil Genius”. Your trip leader will be with your group every step of the way and is there to monitor group progress, help ensure maximum connectivity, award points, initiate “insta-challenges”, and to be your point of contact for any pre/post-trip communication.

Daily Challenges

Each day, participants will be competing with, and against, their fellow co-workers. Challenges will focus on various team-building components, such as listening and collaboration, and will have the teams be pushed gently out of their comfort zones. Most (if not all) challenges will be directly related to the city or region they’re in.

Per Diem

We are not in the food business, and don’t pretend to have any catering expertise. We also understand that individuals have very different palates, and that forcing particular restaurants on everyone may not be in the groups’ best interest. As such, most meals will be at leisure, and a per diem will be included for all to use as they see fit. 

Results

For our team-building trips, “results” means that your team will come back more connected, and and capable of tackling the challenges ahead. This is because of how we structure the trip itself. Your team will also better relate to the needs of others, and will have a deeper understanding of their own personal skills and shortfalls. For our inventive trips, “results” simply means pure enjoyment, and coming back refreshed and ready to repeat as a top performer.

             Notable Exemptions

    • Your transportation to the starting hotel before the trip begins, and then back home from the final challenge/hotel at the end are not included
    • While we will provide a per diem, we won’t be providing meals outside of breakfasts (and possibly one challenge-related lunch or dinner)
    • Prize (if you’d like to offer one). This can be anything from an extra day or week of vacation, to a preset donation to the charity of their choice, or anything else you’d like.
